Mike Miller has over a decade of experience working in all facets of the political arena. As Vice President of Jenkins Hill Consulting, Mike focuses on business development in Florida and strategic lobbying activities, including the development and implantation of effective legislative campaigns.
In addition to his work for Jenkins Hill Consulting, LLC, Mike also serves as President of Advocacy Consulting, LLC, an Orlando based political consulting and fundraising firm. The firm has assisted clients that include not-for-profit organizations and candidates for office at the state and federal level. Some of Advocacy Consulting's Political clients have included Congresswoman Katherine Harris, Congressman Connie Mack, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum and Tom Rooney for Congress.
Mike began his career working as a staff assistant for Senator Connie Mack and later served as a major donor coordinator for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Since departing Capitol Hill, Mike continued his political career in Orlando, Florida. During the 2000 election cycle, Mike served as Assistant Finance Director for Bill McCollum for Senate. Mike helped to coordinate all aspects of the campaigns fundraising operations in both the primary and general elections.
Later, Mike served for three years as the District Director for Congressman Ric Keller's Orlando office. In this post, Mike directed, staffed and organized the district office of the newly elected Congressman. On a daily basis Mike acted as the Congressman's Public liaison to the community and to federal agencies, assisting local efforts to implement legislation at the federal level. In addition, Mike traveled the district, meeting with different constituencies to make sure the Congressman's Message was heard.
During the 2004 election cycle, Mike served as the Finance Director for the Bill McCollum for Senate campaign. Mike coordinated and directed all aspects of the fundraising campaign, implementing a program which raised over $4.5 million.
Mike attended the University of Florida on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a degree in History. He currently resides in Winter Park, FL with his wife Nora, son Jack and daughter Katie.
